Cars

are literally killing machines.


I'm sick of hearing stories about car accidents and pedestrians getting killed/injured because of cars in the past two years. I, myself has been in a car accident this year and it is not a nice experience at all. Today, I have witnessed something I thought I would never witnessed. A runner getting hit by a car. I barely changed into the left lane on Balboa and Plummer to make a left turn. You know, when the line barely curved. I hit the brakes hard because of a loud bang, screamed, and grabbed Jane's hand. All I saw was a 16/17 year old boy, flying about ten feet in the air, twisting and turning just like a rag doll, fell to the ground, and rolled right next to my car. He was so close, I thought he would land right on top of my car. He was conscious and covered with blood/bruises. I insisted him to not move and waited for the ambulance to come. What about the driver? He/she fuckin drove off... It was the hardest thing to watch. I felt nauseated. I felt angry. I felt sad. I wanted to cry, but I'm too shocked. My prayers goes out to all the victims, drivers, runners, pedestrians, and everyone in the world. Whoever you are, please drive cautiously. Don't tailgate anyone's ass, speed, drink and drive, or cut people off because your mad or for whatever reason. I always tell my friends to drive safe, and I really really mean it. God bless.
